While it is true the DUCARE NZ is an engineering firm with a coating division, we also like to think that we can help create modern functional works of art.

DUCARE was approached by ISTHMUS Architects about this project, after we gave feedback on changes to aid manufacturing the result is a striking Balustrade Fence for a Special housing Development.

The Panels were supported by steel posts.

This Balustrade Fence was manufactured and coated in our workshop and installed on site by our Staff.

The balustrades Panels were made up from Purple Heart Timber Batons held together with M24 Threaded rod and Steel Spacers. The Steel work was hot dipped Galvanised, then a three coat paint system applied at our coating workshop.
