Work scope: Historic Pillar & Gates refurbishment, Manufacture and Coating of metal components required for the project.
Historic Pillat and Gates
The Historic Pillars and gates were removed from site Taken to our workshops, repaired and the fully coated to protect them for another 50 years. We also got pillars and gates from storage to refurbish and mount into the new area.
The movable seats in the foreground have steel support legs, metal under edge protection and Anti-skate profiles were made and supplied.
Two lights from the Pillars in storage had to be replaced. DUCARE tookmeasurements from the existing Lights, made components drawings, water cut the sheet metal components, fabricated and coated.
New glass was cut and the lights installed on the refurbished pillars on site.
The Table
The manufacture of the seats and table ends of the center piece of the shade structure on the water front.
The concrete was cast and then DUCARE site measured, manufactured, coated and installed the table ends and seats.
All the sites iconic wooden features are protected with metal edging that was site measured, manufactured and coated by DUCARE. From the seats, structural steel supports for some wooden features.
